Musician, improviser and composer of electro-acoustic music, active on the scene of Italian and European improvised music since the early '80s, he built a personal and expressive tonal palette that now includes the electronic treatment of sound.

Born in Milan on a quiet winter's day.
Elsewhere in the world, Glenn Gould publishes the "Goldberg Variations", Thelonious Monk is about to record "Brilliant Corners", John Cage composes "Radio Music". Soon Ornette Coleman will lose his job as an elevator boy in a department store. He's been playing his plastic saxophone for two years and there are still four to go before "Free Jazz".
MF hardly remembers those days. Would catch up later on.
In the late fall of 1968 listening to the radio from the back seat of his father’s car, he is confirmed that "Hey Jude" is for another week at the lead of the "Hit Parade". That single and that group from Liverpool will mark his existence. He quickly learns to play the guitar.
In the mid 70s he’s gifted the book "Jazz" by Arrigo Polillo. It’ll be the beginning of the end.
Since then he has played and recorded with groups and musicians such as Gruppo Contemporaneo, Takla Makan, Circadiana, M.M.&T., CrowdofOne, Barre Phillips, Filippo Monico, Edoardo Ricci, Guido Mazzon, Gaetano Liguori, Roberto Del Piano, Wolfgang Fuchs, Peter Kowald, Fabrizio Spera, Alberto Braida, Biggi Vinkeloe, Giancarlo Locatelli, Walter Prati, Elliott Sharp, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Ab Baars, Steve Piccolo, Gak Sato, Xabier Iriondo, Bob Marsh, Evan Parker, Dan Warburton, John Hughes, Nicolas Wiese, Gianni Mimmo, Marcello Magliocchi, Matthias Boss and many others.
He has played in several festivals like Clusone, Sant’Arcangelo, Festivaletteratura, Controindicazioni Roma, Europa Jazz Noci, Ah Um, Berlin Jazz, Stazione di Topolò, Electronika, ContemporaneaMente, Le Rotonde de Choc Paris, Milano Film Festival, Memories Design, Quiet Cue Berlin, Elb Jazz Festival Hamburg.
